Morayfield

Morayfield, a large residential suburb on the North Coast railway line, extends from Caboolture South to Burpengary, from Upper Caboolture in the west to Beachmere in the east. Its residential areas are clustered around the railway station and Morayfield Road, and from west to east cover nearly six km. Morayfield railway station was named in 1888, being taken from the Morayfield sugar plantation (1868), planted by George Raff who was born in Morayshire, Scotland.
